I want to help you maximize your health through food.

I work with high achieving women to tap into their body’s natural healing processes through food and lifestyle choices. 

Together we create a personalized plan so that you will be able to focus on living and not your health issues.

My goal is lasting results.  I will teach you how to maximize your health through food and lifestyle choices and I will walk with you as you establish a new way.  You will be the focus as we seek to tailor a meal plan to meet your needs.

1 – CREDENTIALS

I am a registered dietitian nutritionist and member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.  I am a licensed dietitian in Hawai’i and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.  To maintain my credentials and stay current with nutrition research, I obtain continuing professional education credits annually. I am currently enrolled in a certification course for functional nutrition.  I received my Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition.

2 – EXPERIENCE

I have wide experience in helping people get healthy and to heal through food.  I have worked in wellness clinics, with doctors’ offices, in a major hospital, and in dialysis clinics.  While I worked in a hospital and with doctor’s offices, I was certified in nutrition support by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification (NBNSC) and in diabetes education by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE).

3 – EMPATHY

In my work as a dietitian, in caring for my mother at her end-of-life, and in my own efforts to maximize my health, I understand that the choices we make are not exclusively based on knowledge.  A person’s history, their values, and emotions are important factors to include in addressing lifestyle choices and in establishing healthier habits.

Every person has their unique story; the beauty is in the uniqueness.  There will be no cookie cutter experience during your work with me. I seek to know you and personalize your plan.
